As a leading wireless microwave and laser communication systems distributor, Wave1 offers a full range of services. We tailor each job to suit the exact requirements of our clients and ensure we look after their needs from start to finish.
Link design, site surveys and path calculations play an important role in ensuring the proposed turnkey solution can be successfully implemented for the quoted price and within the agreed time frame. These preliminary services aid in ensuring that obstructions and poor Line Of Sight (LOS) are not discovered during or after the installation has been performed, as it can severely affect the systems performance.
Once all of the necessary surveys have taken place, the final sales process can begin. This next stage involves town planning permits, building engineering and permits, mast/tower and foundation design, solar and backup power design, through to site leasing and final equipment list generation. Wave1’s engineering team review the customer's requirements, site details and system design; prioritising tasks such as ACMA Licence applications and mast/mount and tower manufacturing. Installation logistics are then discussed within the Wave1 engineering group. The installation plan, site access and safety and induction requirements are reviewed, along with resource requirements, outside resources and areas of possible difficulties.
Through proper planning and good communication between all parties involved in the project, installations more often than not flow smoothly following the plans and time frames. Once the installation is complete, system commissioning begins. This involves final alignment of the antenna’s, configuration of the system and tuning and testing to ensure the performance is as good as possible and to the clients specifications.
